THE WITCHING HOUR TRANSFERS TO NEWCASTLE

Today, JW Theatres in association with DR1 Theatricals, announce that James Williams’ critically acclaimed, 5 star production of THE WITCHING HOUR will transfer to Newcastle in May 2024.

During the world premiere at Blue Orange Theatre, Birmingham in September 2023, audiences and critics alike praised the production. West End Best Friend said that “the scares come thick and fast” whilst all reviews gave the production either 4 or 5 stars. Repeat bookers said “We enjoyed the production so much that we’ve come again this evening and noticed things we didn’t even see the first time. It’s fantastic - highly recommended!”

Speaking of the transfer, James Williams said “We haven't ever seen a reaction like we did with The Witching Hour. This is the third in our annual horror plays and I'm delighted that audiences elsewhere will have the opportunity to see what all the fuss is about! It is particularly exciting for me to be transferring the show to Tyne Theatre & Opera House after we had such a great success with The Wicked Lady there earlier this year”.

Audiences who saw and loved The Wicked Lady can be sure of an even bigger production with The Witching Hour. Tickets are now on sale with further dates and venues to be announced.

Casting for the tour is to be announced in due course.
